In this photo I am walking point armed with the M-79, 40mm grenade launcher. In the background you can see two of the ARVN fighting bunkers, we had just manned the night before. I never liked this place because it was to close to the village. The photo shows haw close the VC could get to our defenses. This is close to where we lost PFC Schrand and Cpl. Bewley in a ambush.
