In this photo we are running our patrol out of a village and into the open rice paddies. In this photo it looks like the rice has been harvest. The villagers will now be repairing, and improving the dikes ,and irrigation system before replanting. The water buffalo are the only tractors they have. They use them for everything.
We spent so much time wet in our AO, that when we took our socks off, the skin on our feet came off to. We also filled our canteens with this water. When drinking it I stain the water thought my teeth. The leeches taste like shit.
