Sgt. Snyder "3-Shotgun" is putting out green smoke to mark our friendly position. In this photo there is a air strike going on in the background. 3-Shotgun may have had radio communication with Combat Operations Center "COC". Maybe there is going to be more air strikes closer to us. Green smoke may have been requested by COC.
