In the first photo Carl is walking point. A South Vietnamese Kit Carson Scout is following Carl. In the second photo Carl, Brandon, and myself are on a three man patrol to a night ambush sight. In the seventh photo we are having a couple of beers. Damn if I know what Carl is drinking. Some of the photos are about a big surprise Carl had posted over from the States, we were all waiting to see what it was. Anything fun Carl seemed to have a knack searching out. Carl took over point when I rotated back to the States. I know he made it home because I made a trip to California to visit him. I met his brother but Carl was away. Carl was a good friend and I miss him. I wish him all the best of luck at whatever he is doing. Good luck buddy. I miss your dumb ass, and Carl, welcome home.
